Bobby Joe Parshall

Bobby Joe Parshall, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at his home.

Bobby was born on February 12, 1940, to Thomas and Mary (Hodge) Parshall in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. He married Julia (Tanner) Parshall in July 14, 2001, at Collins Chapel Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Bobby was quite the people-person. He enjoyed attending church, singing, painting, and drawing. He worked and retired from Kroger Bakery and then also went on to work at the bakery in Walmart. When his wife Julia was living, they enjoyed traveling and visiting new places. He also liked watching tv in his spare time. In his younger years, Bobby liked to hunt, fish, camp, attend sporting events, and play sports himself when given the opportunity.

Bobby is survived by two daughters, Michelle (Robert) Cain and Julia (C.W.) Moore; six sons, Robert Parshall, Chris (Angel) Parshall, Rodney (Samantha) Parshall, Chester (Kathy) Niederstadt, James Niederstadt, and Alan Heckler; two brothers, Kenny and Larry Parshall; two sisters, Anita Payton and Mary Curtis; twenty-eight grandchildren; along with numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Arletta (Tuttle) Parshall and second wife, Julia (Parshall; one brother, Robert James Parshall; one son, Holland Niederstadt.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with Pastor John Crowley officiating.
