Woodrow Wilson ""Woody"" Mosley, 86, of Westland, Mich. passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. Mosley was born March 9, 1921, in Butler County. He was of the Baptist faith, and had retired as an iron worker. Mr. Mosley was a member of the Iron Workers Union, in Mich. for 50 years, and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching baseball games.
Survivors include two sisters, Marie Clark and Maxine Dare, both of Poplar Bluff; two nieces, two nephews; and caregiver, Christine Harding, of Westland, Mich.
His parents, William and Bertha (Hillis) Mosley, a sister, Nina Lorene Mosley and two brothers, George Washington Mosley and Willie Hillis Mosley preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Jean Dicken officiating and Scott Smith assisting.
