Wilma 'Deloris' (Prall) Mitchelle

Wilma ‘Deloris’ Mitchelle, 93, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Deloris was born on August 15, 1927 to Arthur and Nina Prall in Puxico, MO. She married Verlin Lester Mitchelle on August 9, 1947 in Springfield, MO.

Deloris was a member of First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff where she was their financial secretary for 26 years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and eating out with friends.

Deloris is survived by two daughters, Nancy Ellen Mitchelle and Diane Kay (Larry) Hillis, both of Poplar Bluff; two grandchildren, Amanda Hillis-Strickland of Madison, Wisconsin and Darren (Christina) Hillis of Rochester Hills, Michigan; five great-grandchildren, Kya, Brinley, Ellie, Hatcher and Carter; one brother, Larry (Rika) Prall of Maryland; and one nephew, Robert Prall also of Maryland.

Deloris was preceded by her parents, husband, and one infant son, David Lester Mitchelle.

A public graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Reverend David Stewart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to First United Methodist Church Choir.
