Wilma Jean (Low) Mills

Wilma Jean Mills, 86, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Monday, December 02, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Wilma was born on July 23, 1938, to Odist and Irene (Lawless) Low in Bragg City, Missouri. She married John Donald Mills on September 15, 1962, in Bernie, Missouri.

Wilma and Don enjoyed 61 years of life together until his passing earlier this year. They shared their love and support with their family. Wilma loved to read, and she and Don passed on that love with the sharing of books and gifts to nephews and nieces for two generations. They loved to travel. She was a great cook. She will be greatly missed.

Wilma is survived by her two brothers, Melvin (Loreda) Low and Clyde (Kay) Low; sister, Earlene Sharp; along with numerous nephews, nieces and extended family.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Mills; brother, Otis Low and his wife, Sei; brother-in-law, Richard Sharp.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 05, 2024, from 11:00am-12:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will begin at Noon with Dr. Douglas Low officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
