Wilma Ruth Jones, 82, of Neelyville, died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was born March 27, 1925 in Harviell, Mo to the late Joseph Hess and Nannie Pearl (Clemons) Cochran. She was a homemaker and a retired beautician at Tessie Mae's Beauty Shop. A member of the Southern Fellowship Baptist Church, Mrs. Jones enjoyed quilting and crocheting and was a member of the SEMO Quilters, also gardening and her flowers, and reading westerns novels by Louis Lamore and Zane Gray.
On May 14, 1946 she was married to Paul T. Jones and he preceded her in death on March 26, 2006.
Surviving are four daughters, Paula Moore and Gina Graddy both of Neelyville, Shauna Jones of Harviell and Sindy (Jewell) Moore of Campbell; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Conus, Charles Moore, Roy Moore, Bill Moore and Paul T. Moore; 2 great grandchildren, Jade Conus and Brianna Moore; one brother, Jackie Cochran of Doniphan and one sister, Louise Eaker of Harviell.
Visitation will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel with the funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Almarie Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
