William Louis Alsup

William Louis Alsup, 83, of Williamsville, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at Westwood Hills Healthcare Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Alsup was born June 26, 1923, in Passacola, Mo. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired foreman for Ideal Plastics. Mr. Alsup was also a veteran of the United States Army where he was awarded a Purple Heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid gamesman.

On July 19, 1947, he married Reba M. Riley, in Piggott, Ark. She survives.

Other survivors include five children, Randy Arnold Alsup, of Bonne Terre, Candy Alsup-Moss and Rebecca Jane Alsup, both of Williamsville, and Dixie Russell and Randy Louis Alsup, both of Sparta, Tenn.; one great-grandchild; and his sister, Nellie Waggoner, of Poplar Bluff.
