Walter Davis ""Dave"" Wallace, 76, of Poplar Bluff, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006 at the St. Louis University Hospital.
Mr. Wallace was born May 17, 1930, in Oglethorpe County, Ga. He was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church and had retired from the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, gardening and yard work.
On March 18, 1955, he married Revah Million, in Ellsinore. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Marcus Doyle Wallace, of Farmington and Jeffrey David Wallace, of Ozark, Mo.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and his sister, Dorothy M. Wallace, of Arnoldsville, Ga.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday at the Faith Tabernacle Church, 209 S. 8th St, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Faith Tabernacle Church with the Rev. David Tharp officiating and the Rev. Vernon Parker assisting. Burial with full military honors will be at the Robertson Cemetery, in Ellsinore.
