Virginia E. Adams Beasley

Virginia Ethel Adams Beasley, 81, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at The Cedargate, in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Beasley was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Harviell, Mo. She attended Twin Springs Baptist Church, and had retired from Swift and Company, in St. Louis. Mrs. Beasley enjoyed visiting with her family, reading and crocheting.

On Nov. 5, 1999 she married Paul Marshall Beasley. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2006.

Survivors include her niece and caregiver, Barbara Gray, of Wappapello; nephew, Billy Jenkins, of Poplar Bluff; and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Junior Vester officiating. Burial will be at Kinsey Cemetery, in Butler County.
