Vera Frances Kelly

Vera F. Kelly, 83, of Wappapello, formerly of Flint, Mich., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006 at the Genesys Regional Medical Center, in Grand Blanc, Mich.

Mrs. Kelly was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Portageville. She was of the Protestant faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family.

On Jan. 31, 1941, she married Lloyd R. Kelly, in Malden. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Kelly, of Frankenmuth, Mich. and Marcia Schott, of Fenton, Mich.; two sons, Andy Kelly and Mike Kelly, both of Wappapello; 5 grandchildren, one step-grandson, 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruby Mae Gorrel, of Austin, Tex. and Betty Jo Molenarr, of Memphis, Tenn.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday in the Cotrell Funeral Chapel, at Wappapello. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Friday at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
