Tonya Marie Raymer, 54, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at her residence.
Mrs. Raymer was born Dec. 12, 1952, in Los Angeles, Calif. Attending Three Rivers Community College when she became ill, she had previously worked part-time at the Poplar Bluff Public Library, the Butler County Health Department as a clerk-typist and as an over the road truck driver. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, reading, sewing, crocheting and camping.
On Feb. 1, 1978, she married Steeve Raymer, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include three children, Misty Lynn Brumley, of O'Fallon, Jerry Wayne Raymer, of St. Peters and Rachel Marie Bailey, of Poplar Bluff; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Bill Clanahan officiating.
