Tommy J. Vaughn

Tommy J. Vaughn, 54, of Ada, Okla., formerly of Poplar Bluff died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at his residence.

Mr. Vaughn was born March 9, 1953, in Poplar Bluff and graduated from Poplar Bluff High School. He was affiliated with the First Pentecostal Holiness Church and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.

He married Theresa Hailey, in Ada, Okla. She survives.

Other survivors include two daughters, Rachel Vaughn and Pricilla Vaughn, of the home; two sons, Thomas R. Vaughn and Johnathan Vaughn, of Ada, Okla.; his mother, Emma Vaughn, of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Jason Vaughn, Danny Vaughn and Mike Vaughn, all of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service with full military honors will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Black Creek Cemetery, in Butler County with the Rev. John Vaughn officiating.
