Terry L. ‘T-bird’ Williams, 67, of Poplar Bluff, entered the arms of Jesus Thursday, August 19, 2021, at his home.
T-bird, the son of the late Paul R. Williams and Nora L. Gosha Williams Whitlock, was born May 21, 1954, in Niles, Michigan. He was of the Baptist faith and had retired as a farmer and crop-duster. T-Bird was a happy person and never met a stranger. His greeting was a hardy handshake for men and was a sweeping bow while removing his big black hat for women. He loved will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving is his son, Shane Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, his brothers and sisters, Mary Williams of Killeen, Texas, Garrie Williams of Great Falls, Montana, Jerry Williams (Lovetta) of Louisville, Kentucky, and K.L. Williams (Vickie) of Harriett, Arkansas, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, T-bird was preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Kara, Daniel Kara and Donald Williams and his sister Betty Ann Shafer.
A Memorial Service and inurnment for T-bird as well as his sister Betty will be held at the family plot in Arkansas at a later time.
