Terry Evans

Terry Wayne Evans, 65, of Wappapello, MO passed away on November 28, 2020 at John J. Pershing Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Terry was born on October 15, 1955 to Lindol and Mary Hurn Romhilt in Flint, Michigan.  He married Jerris (Reel) on October 24, 1974, in Kennett, MO..

Terry served in the United States Navy and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3416.  He was an avid fisherman.

Terry is survived by spouse, Jerris Evans, daughter, Janina Evans Dutka (Adam), grandchildren, Skylar, Lexey, Stone, Abby and Ryan Dutka, father, Lindol Wayne Evans Sr. , brother, Lindol Wayne Evans Jr. , Tim Romhilt (Teresa), brother, Matthew David Evans, brother, Mike Bibbs, sister, Kay DeNormandie (Gil) sister, Lesa Hopper.

Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Romhilt, sister, Debbie Lawless and many other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM at  Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services 1100 Iron Bridge Rd. in Poplar Bluff, MO, Adam Dutka officiating, followed by burial at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo at 12 PM.  Face mask and social distancing are required.

The funeral home gathering at 10:30 a.m. will be limited to 30 family members and face coverings are required.  All others may meet at Bloomfield for the military honors at 12 PM and will be ask to remain in their cars for the military honors service, as only 10 family members are allowed inside the committal shelter.
