Teresa Ann Koeger

Teresa Ann Koeger, 56, entered her eternal home on January 24, 2025, after a rapid decline due to sepsis leading to multi-organ failure.

Teresa was born on September 10, 1968, to her loving parents, Thomas and Glenda Sue (Plumlee) Koeger in Kansas City, Kansas.

Teresa worked as a receptionist in a law office for many years. She was passionate, faithful and had a very empathic heart. She was always available to help anyone in need. Teresa was a long-time loyal Chiefs fan, win or lose. Her greatest joy and achievement in life were her children and grandchildren.

Teresa is survived by her father, Thomas (Robin) Koeger; two sons, Austin (Kim) Robertson and Tyler Robertson; one daughter, Hannah (David) Hodges; four precious grandchildren, Emily Jones, Mychael Robertson, Charlie and Mia Hodges, as well as a set of twins (Nina and Noah) due in the spring; two sisters, Michelle (Craig) Sheppard of Leoti, Kansas and Stephanie Behee of Green Cove Springs, Florida; 6 nieces, 5 nephews and numerous friends.

Teresa is preceded in death by her mother, Glenda; brother-in-law, John Behee; maternal and paternal grandparents.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful, knowledgeable, caring nurses and doctors of Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. They cared for Teresa and walked our family through every step of her care until her peaceful passing. Thank you to our Heavenly Father for never leaving or forsaking us and escorting her to her forever home.
