Susan Deanne (Baker) Diaz

Susan “Sue” Deanne Diaz (Baker) passed away on October 10, 2024, peacefully in Qulin, Mo. Sue was married to Mark Diaz and the mother to Aiden Diaz. Sue was an RN of 27 years both in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Bemidji, Mn where she loved to help anyone try to live a better life.

Sue enjoyed fishing and deer hunting with her family, but most importantly Sue was a Christian woman who had put her faith and trust in an almighty God, because of God’s mercy and grace Sue was given a place in heaven not made with the hands of this world.  Of all the things important to her was her opportunity to help anyone understand how much God loved them regardless of who they were or where they had come from.

Sue is survived by her husband Mark and son Aiden Diaz, her mother Beverly Baker, her brother Brian Baker (Tracy) Baker, her sister Kelly (DeWayne) Rhody, and her sister Lisa (Brian) Poe. She is also survived by multiple nieces and nephews and is preceded in death by her father William Baker.

Visitation will be 10am-11:30am on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will follow at 11:30am with Pastor Johnny Meese and Pastor David Yates officiating. Burial will be at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, MO.
