Sue Dunn, 88, of Flushing, Mich., formerly of Butler County, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007 at her residence.
Mrs. Dunn was born Sept. 15, 1918, in Campbell, Mo. She moved to Flushing in 1958 to be near her daughter, and was an active member of Unity Christian Church. Mrs. Dunn graduated from Arkansas State College and taught in small country schools, in Missouri for several years. She retired after having taught at Central Elementary School, in Flushing for 30 years. Mrs. Dunn enjoyed spending time with her family, and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include daughter, Bobbie J. Galbraith, of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Pamela Galbraith and husband Mark Hoolihan, of E. Lansing; sister, Vivian Reed, of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Byron Beck officiating.
Cotrell Funeral Service, of Poplar Bluff is in charge of the arrangements.
