Steve Wayne Reece

August 7, 1956 — August 4, 2023

Steve Wayne Reece, 66, of Parma, Missouri, born in Hayti, Missouri, to the late Mary L McIntosh-Johnson and Jerry Wayne Reece, passed in the arms of his loving wife, August 4th, 2023, at Ridgeview Living Center in Malden, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlene Reece of Parma, Son; Shannon (Karen) Cook of Dexter, granddaughters; Reale of St. Louis and Malia and Isabella Cook of Dexter Brother; Scott (Cindy) Reece of Ringgold GA, their children; Scott L (Morgyn) Reece and their four children of Ringgold, Matthew (Michelle) Reece and their two children of Rossville, GA, Amanda (Matt) Prince and their two children of Lafeyette, GA, and Joe Reece of Orange, CA. Sister; Jerrie Sue Bucklew of Clinton, AR, and her three children; Tori (Ben) Cruce and their two children of Fayetteville, AR, Wendi (John) Pangle and their three children of Clinton, AR, and Dylan (Tesla) Bucklew of Clinton, AR, and their two children. Sister; Julie (Tommy) Bonds of Clinton, AR, their daughter, Hannah (Logan) Williams and their three children.
Steve was proceeded in death by one infant daughter, Mary Katherine Reece.
Steve enjoyed motorcycle riding, woodworking, shooting sports, and genealogy. He belonged to many organizations over the years. He was a civil war reenactor, WWII reanactor, military vehicle enthusiast and collector of militaria. All of these activities brought him into contact with many good and life long friends who will miss him deeply. He was never happier than when he was surrounded by his granddaughters.
A send off will be held November 11th, 2023, at 10:00 am at the old Bloomfield Cemetery off Hwy E. A celebration of life will follow at the Dexter Country Club from 12:00-2:00 with refreshments.
Donations can be made to the Stars and Stripes Museum or the Kenny Rogers Children's Center.
