Sharon K. Hefner, 62, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at her residence.
Mrs. Hefner, daughter of the late H. L. and Lucille (Holland) Easley, was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hefner enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her grandchildren, and camping and boating.
On Feb. 7, 1961, she married Dennis Hefner, in Elbertsville, Ill. He survives.
Other survivors include daughter, Renee Stone, of Glen Carbon, Ill.; son, Jamie Hefner and wife Carla, of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren, Joey, Carson, Maryssia, Dalton, and Christian; four sisters, including her twin, Carol Muller and husband Karl, of St. Peters, Mo., Aileen Summers, Margie Armes and husband Bob and Ruth James, all of Poplar Bluff; and brother, Ray Easley and wife Ruth, of Qulin; special aunt and uncle, Jerry and Nadine Holland, of Poplar Bluff; special sister-in-law, Velma Vandover and husband Gary, of Poplar Bluff; and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Steve Proctor officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
