Sharon I. Alexander, 58, of Poplar Bluff, died September 15, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Miss Alexander was born September 25, 1948 in Phoenix, Ariz. She was a cook at the Doctors Hospital. She was a member of the Bluff City United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, her church and also enjoyed the Holidays and collecting dolls.
Surviving are 3 sisters, Eva Gray of Phoenix, Ariz., Josephine Abston of Vancouver, Wash., and Violet Norris of Clinton, Ark.; 3 brothers, Jessie Glenn Alexander and his wife Mary C. of Dawson Springs, Ky, whom Sharon lived with for 30 years when they lived in Poplar Bluff; Calvin Alexander and Alfred Alexander both of Phoenix, Ariz. and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Bluff City United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ted Elledge officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery.
