Sandra H. (Cochran) Tubb

Sandra Hyacinth Tubb passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Cedargate Healthcare in Poplar Bluff at the age of 86. She had suffered a stroke in October of 2019. She was the first child of seven to Russell and Violet Cochran of Poplar Bluff on July 2, 1935.

She had six brothers, Sidney, Gordon, Terry, Gregory, Roger, and Kelly. She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1953 and married Loyd Newell Tubb on May 2, 1954, in Poplar Bluff. They had one son, Michael Loyd Tubb and he married Susan Anita Healy. Sandra has three grandsons, Jason, Kevin, and Travis. Also, two great-grandsons, Michael, and James, three great-granddaughters, Marissa, Megan, and Abby; all of Poplar Bluff except Megan who currently lives in Grandin with her husband and Sandra’s only great-great-grandson, Jase.

Sandra loved family, playing music, and working in her yard. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 10:00-11:00am at Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services, followed by funeral service beginning at 11:00am with officiating by Pastor Jim Schremp. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Sandra will be laid to rest next to her husband.
