Sally Ann Yarbro, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away, surrounded by her family on December 4th, 2024.
Sally was born on August 4, 1952, to Stan and Jewell Mae (Baumgardner) Bodine in Poplar Buff, Missouri. She married Jerry Yarbro on March 26, 1993, in Butler County.
Sally retired from the Poplar Bluff School District after a long career of teaching Special Education and thoroughly enjoyed her students. Following retirement, she took a job at JC Penney and worked there for 10 years. She loved working with people and was passionate about clothing, shoes, and jewelry. She loved collecting and dealing antiques, pottery, and glassware. Sally was an avid bowler and loved to teach the game to whomever was willing to learn, she even met her husband, Jerry, there. She cared deeply for her family and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Sally is survived by her husband, Jerry; one daughter, Megan (Brian) Hicks; Four grandchildren, Kenzley Hicks, Andrew, Toby, and Olivia Robertson, along with numerous nieces, nephews., cousins, and friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Stan and Judy; one sister, Janet Carr; and one daughter, Ashley Robertson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 11am-1pm. Funeral Services will follow beginning at 1pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, Missouri with Pastor Mason Powell officiating. Burial will take place at Brown's Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri.
