Ruth Ann (Bowman) Carpenter

Ruth Ann Carpenter, 75, of Williamsville, Missouri passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in her home.

Ruth was born on December 18, 1946, to Doris and Billie (Waltrip) Bowman in Fisk, Missouri. She married James "Jim" Carpenter on July 2, 1962, in New Madrid, Missouri.

Ruth was a member of the Assembly of God. She enjoyed shopping, running around to yard sales, cleaning her home, and helping others in any way she could. Ruth's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years, Jim Carpenter; two sons, Jim Carpenter Jr. and wife Cynthia, and Jerry Carpenter and partner Cristi Wilson; one daughter, Billie Jones; eleven grandchildren, Josh, Jeremie, Tiffany, Mike, Tasha, Faith, Miranda, Christopher, Megan, Shandi, and Zachary; sixteen great-grandchildren, Bentley, Chelsea, Oliva, Rowan, Brandan, Alonzo, Anna, ShayLynna, Trace, JoBob, Jerrika, Jenny, Gabriel, Makenzie, Riley, and Frehley; and two great-great grandchildren, Xavier and Paisley.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and two sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
