Rusty Lee Stratton

Rusty Lee Stratton, 33, of Harviell, Missouri, was called to Heaven by his Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Rusty was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on September 2, 2022.

Rusty was born June 1, 1989, in Poplar Bluff to Russell and Regina (Helton) Stratton. He was a graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and was employed in the maintenance department at Legacy Equipment in Corning, Arkansas. He enjoyed gardening, comedy, all things music, playing his guitar, fishing, going to Colorado, watching St. Louis Blues hockey games, cooking with his wife, spending time with his family, and hanging out with his dog Molly.

Survivors include his wife Beverly Wells Stratton of the home, his daughter Kylee Berry of the home, his parents, Russell and Regina Stratton of Poplar Bluff, his paternal grandmother Shirley Stratton, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Ervin and Vivian Helton, paternal grandfather JL Stratton, and his beloved uncle, Rickey Helton.

A graveside service will be at 2 pm, Wednesday Oct. 5, 2022, at Old Oak Hill Cemetery at 1378 CR 543, with Brad Hale officiating.
