Roy Reynolds

Roy Reynolds, 90, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 07, 2022, surrounded by family at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Roy was born on June 7, 1932, to Henry and Mary (Brandon) Reynolds in Dorina, Missouri. He married Doris Umphress on May 25, 1954, in Rutland, Illinois.

Roy loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, a good deer chase, driving his bulldozer, and spending time at the cabin. He was a simple man, who enjoyed the little things such as a cold beer and a King Edward cigar. He liked to share stories and visit with family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with family.

Roy is survived by his wife of sixty-eight years, Doris May Reynolds; three sons, Harve (Donna) Reynolds, Alton (Angi) Reynolds, and Craig (Michelle) Reynolds; two daughters, Debi (Art) Stenger, and Donna (Derek) Boyers; two sisters, Laurie May, and Goldie Miller; eight grandkids; twelve great-grandkids; two great-great-grandkids; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Roy was preceded in death by one grandson, Monty Dale Reynolds; four brothers and four sisters.

Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 6:00-8:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services.
