Roy Don Griffey

Roy Don Griffey, 82, of Williamsville, MO, passed away on February 24, 2025, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Roy was born on April 22, 1942, to Roy Ike and Ruth (Henson) Griffey in Dexter, Missouri.

Roy was a member of the United States Army. He worked for Keener Gravel Company, then later became Superintendent for Delta Companies in Cape Girardeau. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time on the lake. He was an avid fisherman and fished or competed in fishing tournaments as often as possible.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Paula White; niece, Angie Hodge; two nephews, Andrew and Christopher Webster; along with numerous other friends and family.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers Roger “Butch” Griffey and Terry Randal Griffey; aunt, Gale Henson.

Gathering will be held on Thursday, March 06, 2025, from 12:30-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Memorial service with full military honors to follow beginning at 1:00pm with Chaplain Miguel officiating.
