Roscoe William Kiefer, 86, of Broseley, MO, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023.
Roscoe was born on October 30, 1936, to Benjamin and Mamie (Lewis) Kiefer in Alicia, Arkansas. He married Charlotte (Resler) on March 26, 1970, in Peru, Indiana.
Roscoe was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of Broseley First Baptist Church. Roscoe enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and gardening. He loved duck hunting with the "Tennessee Boys". He was a softball coach for many years and was a sports enthusiast. Roscoe was the owner and operator of Kiefer's Upholstery for nearly 45 years. He was a talented guitar player and was even in a bluegrass band many years ago. Roscoe shared a special relationship with his grandson Cory, who he spent much of his time with. Roscoe will be missed by many.
Roscoe is survived by five children, Kenneth (Darla) Kiefer, Bethany (Eddie) Sessions, Steven (Alice) Kiefer, Kevin (Emma) Kiefer, and Tina (Jerry) Crane; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; special friend, Vivian.
Roscoe was preceded in death by his parents; wife; one daughter, Leslie Bagley; one brother, Percy Kiefer.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from12:00-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral will follow beginning at 1:00pm. The burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
