Ronald Marvin Maloy

Ronald Marvin Maloy, 80, of Columbia, Illinois, passed away Monday, January 09, 2023.

Ron was born on September 26, 1942, to Marvin and Lottie (Myatt) Maloy in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ron was a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed attending Greyhound races and tracks; he was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time out on the lake.

Ron is survived by two sons, Keith (Tammy) Maloy and Allen Maloy; two daughters, Penny Badley and Donna (George) Hickman; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Ron was preceded by his parents; sister, Mary Ellen Goesmann.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 12:00-1:00pm at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The funeral procession will leave immediately following the viewing. A graveside committal service will be held at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his parents.
