Robert Franklin ""Bob"" Uhl, 78, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Uhl was born June 4, 1929, in Butler County, and was a retired saw-mill worker. He enjoyed building dog houses and other projects, and rabbit, squirrel and coon hunting.
On April 25, 1959, he married Adele Barker, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Lesa Joann Matchett, of Poplar Bluff; sons, Jimmy Franklin Barker, of Naylor, Allen Eugene Uhl, and Randy Neal Uhl, both of Poplar Bluff, and Danny Robert Uhl, of Harviell; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Gerline Webb, of Summerville, Mo. and Naomi Uhl, of Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Knodell officiating. Burial will be at Black Creek Cemetery, in Butler County.
