Robert "Jack" Prince

Jack Prince, 87, of Poplar Bluff, Mo passed away on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on August 7, 1928 to Samuel Prince and Myrtle (McCaslamb) Grissom in Mountain View, Ark.  He enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington State.

On December 10, 1946 he married Joyce Osborn in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  He worked in construction his entire life and was a memember of the labor union.

Jack is survived by his loving spouse of 68 years, Joyce; six children, Dorenda Engle of Poplar Bluff, Roberta Morris of Gainesville, Mo, Robert (Sherri) Prince of Snohomish, Wash, Christie Prince of Poplar Bluff, Greg (Eva) Prince of Poplar Bluff, Lorie (Kurt) Holloway of Poplar Bluff; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; his sister, Ruth Drennan; and seven other siblings.
