Robert L. Kellogg

Robert Louis Kellogg, Sr., 79, of Wappapello, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mr. Kellogg was born Aug. 15, 1927 in Bay City, Mich. He was a member of Little Brushy Church, at Wappapello and the Gideon's International. Mr. Kellogg had retired from the United States Navy and was a member of the D.A.V. He loved his church and loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed reading and traveling.

On July 20, 1957, he married Esther Bolden, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughter, Sharon Rampley and husband Stanley, of Bloomfield; his son, Bobby Kellogg and wife Kathy, of Wappapello; three grandchildren, Amberlea, Ryan and D.J.; and two great-grandchildren, Michaela and Devon.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at the Wappapello Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 12 noon Monday at the Wapppapello Chapel with the Rev. Amos Dees officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at 3 p.m. Monday at the Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
