Robert Lee Hayes

Robert Lee ""Bobby"" Hayes, 23, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, July 20, 2007 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Bobby was born Jan. 22, 1985, in St. Louis. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, in Poplar Bluff, and employed with W W Wood Products, in Dudley. Bobby enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and sports.

On Feb. 3, 2006, he married Jessica Ward, in Poplar Bluff. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother and step-father, Terry and Johnny Davis, of Poplar Bluff: sister, Shanna Gilberto and husband Adam, of Poplar Bluff; maternal grandparents, Robert and Reta Crank, of Poplar Bluff; father and mother-in-law, the Rev. Dennis and Barbara Ward, of Poplar Bluff; two aunts, Cynthia Wacker and husband Jeff, of Poplar Bluff and Bridget Crank, of Marble Hill; four cousins, Dr. Amy Rowland, Kristy Kiersey, Crystal Merrell and Dustin Browning; two sisters-in-law, Sarah Clark and Mary Beth Ward; and a brother-in-law, Justin Ward.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Greg Gilberto and the Rev. Dennis Ward officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
