Robert Eugene Anthony

Robert Eugene Anthony, 50, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Monday, October 11, 2021.

Robert was born on September 2, 1971. He married the love of his life, whom he met in 5th grade, Missy (Dougherty) Anthony on April 6, 2015, in Poplar Bluff.

Robert was a retired river boat captain for Ingram Barge where he was employed for 27 years. Robert and his wife Missy opened My Brother's Bar & Grill in August 2019. Robert had a huge heart and would do anything to help someone in need. He enjoyed playing pool and was part of Newman's Pool League. He loved his dogs and cat.

Robert is survived by his wife, Missy; one sister, Tina Downing; and four stepsons, Daniel Mills, Dustin Morse, Colby Ross, and Austin Ross.

Robert was preceded by his father, Frank Sr. and his first wife, Rina K.

Robert will be loved and missed by all.

A public celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 11:00am at My Brother's Bar & Grill.
