Rickey "Rick" Eugene Helton

Rickey "Rick" Eugene Helton, 65, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Thursday, January 07, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Rick was born on December 6, 1955 to Ervin and Vivian Helton in Poplar Bluff.  He married Rachel Whitehead on June 6, 1975, in Poplar Bluff.

Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and all things outdoors. He also had a love for playing music.

Rick is survived by his wife, Rachel Helton; one son, Rocky Helton (Tammy) of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Regina Stratton (Russell) of Poplar Bluff; nephew, Rusty Stratton of Harviell; and close friends, JC & Mary-Catherine Cook of Portageville, MO.

Rick was preceded by his parents.

A public graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1:00PM at Old Oak Hill Cemetery in Poplar Bluff with officiating by Reverend Melburn Deaton.
