Regina Lou (Eason) James

Regina Lou James, 64, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 11, 2022, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Regina was born on March 3, 1958, to Bob and Shirley (Goldsmith) Eason in McFarland, California. She married Jesse Lee James on October 21, 1994, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Regina was a member of Ellsinore Full Gospel Church. She liked to travel and go on trips with her family. She loved being spoiled and pampered by her husband and friend of nearly 30 years, Jesse. She liked tending to her flowers and plants, always had a green thumb. Regina's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandbabies and her most distinguished title was Nana.

Regina is survived by her husband, Jesse; two daughters, Kellie (Bruce) Goodrich and Andrea (James) Reeves; one brother, Tony (Wanda) Eason; one sister, Tessie Anderson; five grandchildren, Austin, Brian, Olivia, Ella Goodrich and Emma Reeves; two canine companions, Marley and Millie.

Regina was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, John and Bobby Eason.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, from 10:00-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with Pastor Darrell Davis officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
