Rebecca Sue Ribbing, 57, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Ribbing was born Aug. 16, 1950, in Alton, Ill. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ribbing enjoyed spending time with her family, and arts and crafts.
On Aug. 29, 1972, she married Jerry Ribbing, in Plattsmouth, Neb. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Whitney Pretz and husband Ryan, of Poplar Bluff and Suzette Bowling and husband Wilson, of Bull Shoals, Ark.; her parents, August E. and Barbara (Huffstutler) Westbrook, of Brighton, Ill.; five grandchildren, Mannon Pretz, Garrett Bowling, Mason Bowling, Jacob Bowling and Hailey Bowling; and two brothers, David Westbrook, of Hazelwood, Mo., and Todd Westbrook and wife Kelly, of Decatur, Ill.
Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Kurt Schuermann officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
