Ray Von Mcclure

Ray V. McClure, 52, of Poplar Bluff, died Saturday, March 3, 2007 at his residence.
Mr. McClure was born April 29, 1954, in Poplar Bluff to the late James Joe Nathan and Emma Jean (Bridges) McClure. At the age of 18 he joined the United States Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam Era. Mr. McClure was a musician. He enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others and music.
He was married to the former Rosemarie Bevans. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include five sons, Ray Von McClure, Jr. and Joseph McClure, both of St. Louis, Jason Lyle McClure, of Blytheville, Ark., Joe James Nathan McClure and Marques Tremaine McClure, both of Poplar Bluff; five grandchildren; two sisters, Joe Lamar Love and husband Bo and Jessie Joe Dean McClure, all of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Daniel Lee McClure, of Los Angeles, Calif., Joe Dale McClure and wife Martha, of Poplar Bluff and Michael McClure and wife Carolyn, of St. Louis; and his companion, Sally Turner, of Poplar Bluff.
Three brothers, James Napoleon McClure, Gabriel Lee McClure and Ronnie Joe McClure, also preceded Mr. McClure in death.
Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating.
Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
