Phyllis Ann (Vanmeter) Manns

Phyllis Ann Manns, 63, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Friday, October 15, 2021, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Phyllis was born on March 19, 1958, to Bobby and Kathy (Brooks) VanMeter in Jacksonville, Arkansas.  She married Roy Manns on November 21, 2000, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Phyllis was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. She liked watching the food network and HGTV. She was an avid reader. She also enjoyed her garden the last few years.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Roy; two children, Melissa Felts and Mark VanMeter, both of Poplar Bluff; two stepdaughters, Megan and Maggie; two brothers, Jim (Dori) Mastin of Hanahan, South Carolina and Bryan VanMeter of Houston, Texas; one sister, Holly (Steven) Richerson of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Jacqueline, Haylie, and Charlotte Mae.

Phyllis was preceded by her parents; one brother, Rick Mastin; and her first husband, Ronnie Felts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 10:00-11:00am at Westwood Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with officiating by Pastor Steve Proctor. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Discovery Fund or Siteman Annual Fund in association with Siteman Cancer Center.
