Pheba A. (Hardin) Steinmeyer

Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Pheba Ann Steinmeyer, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Oakdale Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Pheba was born on November 3, 1939, to Walter and Opal (McKim) Hardin in Qulin, Missouri.  She married Clarence "Jim" Steinmeyer on May 25, 1974, in St. Charles, Missouri.

Pheba retired from McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. She has been known to be a jack of all trades. Pheba liked to fish, garden, and cook for her family and friends.

Pheba is survived by one stepdaughter, Kathy Knoshaug; two grandchildren, Nick Knoshaug and Angie Seaba; sister, Pat Haag; two great-grandchildren, Faith, and Karsyn Knoshaug; numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children, Brenda Worley, Becky Smith, Howard Duffy, Curtis Worley, Sandy Pike, and Jake Worley.

Pheba was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one stepson, Kevin Steinmeyer; two sisters, Betty Worley and Delores Duffy.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 2:00pm at Browns Chapel Cemetery in Broseley. Chaplain Callum Reavey to be officiating.

The family would like to thank Oakdale Skilled Nursing Staff and Crown Hospice for taking great care of our beloved Pheba.
