Paul J. Miller, 87, of Poplar Bluff, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Miller was born Feb. 13, 1920, in St. Louis. He was of the Lutheran faith, and had retired from GAF Corporation as a supervisor. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and riding his ATV.
On May 11, 1945 he married Pearl H. Yancy, in Illinois. She survives.
Other survivors include his daughter, Yvonne Chiolero, of Eureka, Mo.; son John Miller, of South Roxana, Ill.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle Johnson, of Belleville, Ill.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gilbert officiating. Burial will be at Cochran Cemetery, off of County Road 488, in Butler County.
