Patricia Ellen (Worley) Ruble

Patricia Ellen Ruble, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, in Poplar Bluff.

Patricia, the daughter of Shelby C. and Roma H. Christian Worley, was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and was homemaker. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved taking care of her family.  She enjoyed listening to music and loved to sing.  Patricia along with her late husband sang with the gospel group Telegraph Gospelaires.

On June 19, 1955, she married Robert Joel Ruble in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death on December 31, 2016.

Patricia is survived by wo children, Kathleen ‘Kathy’ (Larry) Hada and Robert M. (Marcia) Ruble of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Chris Ward, Brian Ward, Misty (Brad) Andrews and Christie (Mark) Hicks all of Poplar Bluff; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Barb) Worley of Poplar Bluff and Glenn (Beth) Worley of Wappapello: and a sister-in-law Margaret Worley of Houston, Texas.

Patricia was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Julie Scott, a granddaughter Amy Kingery and a brother Ronald Worley.

The visitation will begin at 1 pm Friday at Willow Ridge Funeral Chapel with the funeral service following at 2 pm. The Rev. Bruce “Pete” Ruble will officiate and Rev. Nathan Kirkley will assist. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
