Pamela "Pj" Ethridge

Pamela Jean (Barks) Ethridge, 57, known to many as PJ, departed this life Monday, January 16, 2023, surrounded by love.

Pamela was born March 11th, 1965, in Doniphan, Missouri. Pamela was a wonderful mother, grandma, loving wife, sister, aunt, niece, and friend.

Pamela lived her life fearlessly and completely devoted to the love of her lifetime, her family, and her friends. PJ's smile could light up the darkest night. She was the most giving and always encouraged laughter and love wherever she would go. Pamela was bold and unwaveringly herself. She lived a life of Rock n Roll and would not let you forget how awesome she was.

Pamela was always first to sacrifice self if it meant helping someone else. Pamela worked full time at the USPS, where she gained many friends that became her second loving family. She loved fiercely and will be greatly missed by so many.

Pamela is survived by the love of her life, William Flaherty; two sons, Alexis (Angel) Ethridge and Katum (Kristen) Ethridge; nine grandchildren, Vixianna, Carson, Parker, Milo, Zeppelin, Elliot, Harrison, Temperance, and Everleigh; two sisters, Holly Meyer (Michael and children), and Treina Hillis (Brad & children); four brothers, Dale Barks, Charles Barks (Bonnie & children), Ronnie Pullum (& children), Terry Pullum (Jordan & children) and many cousins, an aunt, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Dale Barks & Pearl Pullum.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
