Noel L. Long

Noel L. Long, 78, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Long was born April 13, 1929, in Elmore, OK. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church, in Poplar Bluff, and had retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. Mr. Long was later employed with the Farmland Company. He enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and fishing.

On April 13, 2000, he married Marie Ledbetter, in Checotah, Okla. She survives.

Other survivors include four children, five step-children; numerous grandchildren, and three sisters.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Dennis Ward officiating. A graveside service and burial will follow at 1 p.m. at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery, in Bloomfield.
