Nina Joan Davis, 89, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the Blanchette Place, in St. Charles.
Mrs. Davis, one of 13 children was born June 24, 1918, in Blair, Nebr., and moved to Missouri in a covered wagon with her family when she was 6 months old (the trip of which took 2 years). She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Mrs. Davis enjoyed spending time with her family and staying active.
On Sept. 10, 1938, she married William Edward Davis. He preceded her in death on Jan. 3, 1986.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Joan Boshears, of St. Charles and Wanda Louise Yarbrough, of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Paul Edward Davis, of Baldwin and Steven Davis, of Poplar Bluff; 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchidren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert B. Warrick, of Central Point, Oreg., and Eugene D. Warrick, of Medford, Oreg.
Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel, with the Rev. Gary Aubuchon officiating. Burial will be at the City Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
