Naomi L. Timmons

Naomi L. Timmons, 87, of Poplar Bluff, died May 21, 2006 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Timmons was a nurses' aid at the Doctors Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She was born May 3, 1919 in Harrisburg, Illinois and enjoyed quilting, reading, especially the Bible, watching TV and sewing.

On October 17, 1936 she married Pascal Estill Timmons and he preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1977.

Surviving are two daughters, Martha I. McTasney and Juanita M. Haynes both of Poplar Bluff and one son, Frank R. Timmons of Denver, CO; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be at 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel with Dr. Ronnie Webb officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery
