Nancy JoAnn King, 72, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. King was born April 22, 1936, in Trenton, Mo. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, and had retired as a bookkeeper. Mrs. King also owned and operated a porcelain doll shop. She enjoyed making crafts of all kinds and flower gardening.
On Dec. 25, 1952, she married Donald King, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.
Other survivors include four children, Cindy Dees, of St. Louis, Judy Levan and her husband Roger, of Grand Tower, Ill., and Parker King and his wife Karen and Alan King, all of Poplar Bluff; 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Mooney, of Corpus Christy, Tex.
Her parents, Marvin and Alpha (nee, McWade) Mooney preceded her in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff.
