Nadine Freeman, 68, of Poplar Bluff died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008 at St. Louis University Hospital.
Ms. Freeman was born March 5, 1940, in Butler County. She was of the Baptist faith, and was formerly employed at Napa Auto Parts. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her family and flower gardening.
Survivors include her friend and companion of 40 years, Glenn Buchanan, of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Pearl Pullum, of Poplar Bluff, Ester Mahon, of Farmington, Mo., and Etna Shearon, of Patterson, Mo.
Her parents Euel and Marie (Daughhetee) Freeman, and two daughters, Moski Leze Lawson and Tina Phelene Peppers preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel with the Rev. Don Hutto officiating. Burial will be at Lone Hill Cemetery, in Butler County.
