Myra G. Barrow, 90, a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff and Wayne County, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Barrow was born Nov. 1, 1916, in Gipsy, Mo. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a member of the Eastern Star, in Greenville where she served as Past Worthy Matron. Mrs. Barrow had retired from Doctor's Hospital as an L.P.N. and was a homemaker.
On June 11, 1949, she married Wayne Edwin Barrow. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1977.
Survivors include three nieces Waynette Weger and husband Larry, of Florissant, Judith Kennedy and husband Ron, of Godfrey, Ill. and Beverly Wilderman, of Elsah, Ill.; and a nephew Norris D. Fox and wife Elizabeth, of Denton, Tex.
Her parents Urban and Mary Katherine (Perkins) Gibbs, two sisters Reva Bollinger and Irene Fox and a brother Benton Gibbs also preceded Mrs. Barrow in death.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with Dr. Steven Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Greenville Cemetery, in Greenville.
