Michelle Marie (Ste. Croix) Nicholson

Michelle Marie Nicholson, 53, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at her home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Michelle was born on February 13, 1971, to Lucien and Sue (McMillian) Ste. Croix in Brunswick, Maine. She married Chesley Glenn Nicholson on August 31, 1994, in Cokesbury Methodist Church in Pensacola, Florida.

Michelle was extremely creative and was always crafting. She loved to camp and spend time outdoors. Michelle looked forward to hosting "Grandma's Boot Camp" every summer when the grandbabies would come visit and she would take them to do all sorts of fun activities. Michelle was a caregiver for three family members. She had mastered multitasking and always seemed to be in the middle of several projects or jobs. Michelle volunteered at the school her grandchildren attended. She held many positions over the years and her help was always appreciated by those that worked alongside her. She was a light to those who truly knew her. Michelle's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Glenn; father, Lucien; stepmother, Louise Ste. Croix; two daughters, Danielle Macks and Megan Dailey; one sister, Pam Ste. Croix; two brothers, Kevin and Robert (Michelle) Ste. Croix; one stepsister, Debbie Crider; five grandchildren, Myah, Chase, Shawn, Brooklyn, and Vonte; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Heath; stepfather, James Heath; father-in-law, Joe Nicholson; brother-in-law, John Rogers.

A private family gathering will be held.
