Michael Lee Payne

Michael Lee Payne, 44, of Poplar Bluff, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006 at his residence.

Mr. Payne was born July 27, 1962, in Butler County. He was of the Baptist faith and a Warehouse Manager for Schaller Hardwood Lumber Co., in Poplar Bluff. Mr. Payne was a member of the Freedom of the Road Riders as well as an active supporter of the American Cancer Society.

Survivors include two children, Alisha Nicole Payne and Brett Michael Payne, of the home; his father, Bobby Joe Payne, of Poplar Bluff; and his brother, Randy Payne, of Liberty Township, Ohio.

Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Poplar Bluff with the Rev. Wayne Foust officiating.
