Melissa Lynn Michel

Melissa Lynn Michel, 45, of Poplar Bluff, died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at her residence.

Mrs. Michel was born February 1, 1961, in Poplar Bluff and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She along with her husband owned and operated Snap Shot Portrait Studio, in Poplar Bluff. Mrs. Michel enjoyed spending time with her family and photography work.

On May 9, 1992 she married Chris Michel, in Poplar Bluff. He survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Anthony David Michel, Matthew Christopher Michel, Taylor Christopher Michel, Nicholas Thomas Michel and Quentin Kenneth Michel; her mother, Pat (Brittain) Darnell of Poplar Bluff, and one brother Dewayne Darnell of Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Mike McDevitt officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
